While taking a walk, God gave me this Sunday’s blog. I am grateful that He has chosen me to encourage, uplift, and help others grow in their relationship with Him.
If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today is the day. Repent of your sins, believe in your heart, receive His gift of salvation, and confess Jesus as Lord. Through Him, you become part of God’s family.
A covenant is a solemn, binding agreement. In Scripture, it refers to an unbreakable promise sealed by blood.
Jeremiah 31:33-34 (NLT)
“I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people… I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”
Through the blood of Jesus, God established a new covenant that can never be broken. Jesus took our sins, sorrow, sickness, shame, and eternal punishment upon Himself because of God’s great love for us. Our part is to believe, receive, confess His Word, and walk in obedience. As we trust His finished work, we experience His peace, healing, and abundant life.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unbreakable covenant through Jesus Christ. I repent of my sins and thank You for Your forgiveness. I believe and receive all that Jesus accomplished on the cross. Your promises are “Yes” and “Amen.” Help me trust Your finished work and walk in obedience each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
