The phrase from the blog came from me listening to an anointed speaker about trusting and resting in God. It is easy to want to know all the details especially when things are out of control. God is all knowing and He knows our beginning and ending.
Come to God in prayer
James 5:13 NLT:13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray.
Matthew 11:28-29: Living Translation: 28 Come to me and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. 29-30 Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens.”
Hear, read, speak, and listen to the word
Joshua 1:8: 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be [d]successful.
Believe and trust God completely
Hebrews 4:2-3 NLT: 2 Yes, the good news about it was told to us just as it was to them. But the message they heard did not help them. They heard it but did not accept it with faith. 3 Only we who believe it are able to enter God’s place of rest.
Prayer: God I thank you for the finished work by sending your Son Jesus. I rest in what you have already done. God you go before me in every battle and situation. I read your word, speak it, meditate it, and do it. God you do the work in me as I yield to you I can rest. Thanks be to God who always causes me to triunph in you.
