Stay Wit It ’Til You Git It!
What you continually hear affects your faith and your results. Romans 10:17 teaches that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Faith must be continually strengthened by God’s Word, and what you believe for must agree with His will.
In Mark 4:14–20, Jesus describes four types of ground:
- Hardened ground: People hear the Word, but Satan quickly takes it away.
- Stony ground: People receive the Word with excitement but give up when difficulties come.
- Thorny ground: Worry, stress, and worldly desires choke the Word, making it unfruitful.
- Good ground: People hear, accept, and obey the Word, producing an abundant harvest.
Only the good ground produced lasting results. Which type of ground represents your heart?
Hebrews 12:1–3 encourages us to remove anything that slows us down, keep our eyes on Jesus, and patiently run the race without quitting.
My Testimony
My journey began with a dream about freelance writing. As I prayed and researched, God connected me with a successful author and spiritual adviser. She asked what I was most passionate about, and I told her that I loved encouraging people. She replied, “That is what your blog will be about.”
I began creating encouraging rhyming phrases with pictures. My father suggested starting a blog, which inspired the name Adams Family Inspirations.
Building the blog was difficult. I struggled with customizing it, logging in, and other discouraging obstacles. However, I focused on how it could bless others and refused to quit. Now I can see the results of staying faithful.
Stay wit it ’til you git it!
Prayer
God, thank You for sending Jesus as my example. Help me run life’s race while keeping my eyes on Him, the author and finisher of my faith. I release every weight that hinders me and repent for allowing difficult situations to discourage me. Through You, I have victory. Help me persevere with faith, patience, and expectation until I receive Your promise. Thank You in advance. In Jesus’ name, amen.

In order to get the new things Spring brings, I am holding on to the God. By preparing myself through fasting to tackle my shackle and holding on to the word of God no matter what, I will reap what I am believing for. I choose to be the seed that is on good ground. I want results!
