Don’t Pretend! Your Life Has an End!

Just like movies and TV series have a beginning, middle, and end, so do our lives. God has given us all things to richly enjoy, but one day we will stand before Him in judgment. Will we hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” or “I never knew you; depart from Me”?

1. Love in Action Reflects Our Relationship with God

1 John 3:14–15 NLT: Love for our brothers and sisters shows that we have passed from death to life. Hatred reveals a heart that needs God.

Matthew 5:43–48 MSG: Jesus teaches us to love our enemies, pray for those who mistreat us, and show others the same grace God shows us.

Romans 13:8–10 MSG: Loving others fulfills God’s law. Love does no harm to others.

Declaration: I will walk in love, even toward those who mistreat me!

2. Repent and Allow God to Examine Your Heart

Isaiah 55:7 NLT: “Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong.”

Turn to God, repent, and allow Him to remove anything from your heart that does not please Him.

Declaration: I repent, forgive, and allow God to examine my heart!

3. Share the Goodness of God

Revelation 12:11 NLT: “And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.”

John 3:16–17 NKJV:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Jesus came not to condemn us, but to save us! Share your testimony and let others know about God’s goodness, love, and the gift of salvation.

Declaration: I will boldly share God’s goodness and the gift of salvation!

Prayer

Father, thank You for loving me and sending Jesus to save me. I repent for not always walking in love. Examine my heart and help me love and pray for my enemies. Give me boldness to share Your goodness with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
