Truth Sees and Frees! Lies Blind and Bind!
An anointed preacher taught a powerful message about truly trusting God. Many believers are believing lies instead of the truth of God’s Word, leaving them blinded and bound by deception.
When we focus only on what we see in the natural, we can easily be deceived. Faith requires believing God beyond what our natural eyes can see.
1. Keep Hearing, Speaking, and Reading God’s Word
Psalm 119:105 NLT:
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”
John 8:31–32 NLT:
Jesus teaches that when we remain faithful to His Word, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.
God’s Word exposes lies and leads us into truth and freedom.
2. Hear and Obey God’s Voice
Hebrews 3:15 NLT:
“Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”
Acts 28:27 ESV: This scripture warns about hardened hearts, closed eyes, and ears that refuse to hear God’s truth.
Don’t allow a hardened heart to keep you spiritually blind and bound.
3. Reject Every Lie That Contradicts God’s Word
2 Corinthians 10:4–5 NKJV: We must cast down all imaginations and thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring our thoughts into obedience to Christ.
James 4:7 NIV:
“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Stop entertaining lies. Submit to God’s truth, resist the devil, and stand firm in His Word!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that guides me into truth. Forgive me for rejecting Your Word and following my own ways. Remove my stony heart and give me a heart of flesh. Open my spiritual eyes and ears to recognize Your truth.
I choose to remain in Your Word because Your truth sets me free! I surrender my thoughts to You and cast down everything contrary to Your Word. I submit to God, resist the devil, and he flees from me.
Strengthen me where I am weak. I am no longer blind and bound by lies. I see the truth, walk in freedom, and remain free through Jesus Christ!
In Jesus’ name, Amen!
