Endure Is The Cure

Have you ever heard the saying, “You have to go through to get to?” Every believer will face trials that test their faith. The enemy wants us to become discouraged and quit before we receive what God has promised.

But God’s answer is simple:

Endure is the cure.

Jesus endured the cross for our salvation, leaving us the perfect example to follow.

2 Timothy 2:3 (NKJV)
“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Like a soldier who stays focused on the mission, we must keep our eyes on God’s Word instead of our circumstances. Trials don’t come to destroy us—they reveal where our faith needs to grow.

Luke 8:15 (CSB) reminds us that those who hold firmly to God’s Word and endure will produce a harvest.

Just as a phone needs to be recharged, we need God’s Word every day. Jesus said in John 6:63 (NKJV), “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” His Word renews our strength and gives us the power to keep going.

Stay connected to people of faith, spend time in prayer and worship, and continue reading, listening to, speaking, and meditating on God’s Word.

No matter what you’re facing today, remember:

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You, Jesus, for enduring the cross and showing me how to remain faithful through every trial. Forgive me for the times I have become discouraged or wanted to give up. Strengthen me through Your Spirit and Your Word, and help me endure every challenge as a faithful soldier of Christ. Surround me with people who encourage my faith, and keep my eyes fixed on You until I receive every promise You have prepared for me.
