Introduction 🌿:

The phrase came to me as I was talking to my sister:
God has already made the way for us through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.

In John 10:9–10, Jesus says:

“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

When we trust in Jesus, we are saved—not only for eternity, but from every situation we face in life.

🌱 Feed and Exercise Your Faith

Faith must be developed daily through God’s Word.

Matthew 4:4 (NLT):

“People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Romans 10:17 (NKJV):

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Faith grows when we hear the Word, but it is strengthened when we apply it.

James 1:22–25 (NKJV) parphrased: Don’t just hear God’s word and think that’s enough—that only fools you. Put it into action. Anyone who listens but doesn’t follow through is like someone who looks at their reflection in a mirror, walks away, and forgets what they look like. But the one who carefully studies God’s truth—the law that brings freedom—and keeps living by it, not forgetting what they’ve learned but actually doing it, will be blessed in everything they do.

1 Timothy 4:8 (NLT):

“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better…”

❤️ Faith Works Through Love

Faith comes by hearing, but it works when we walk in love.

Galatians 5:5–6 (NLT):

“What is important is faith expressing itself in love.”

1 Corinthians 13:13:

“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”

Romans 13:8 (NLT):

“Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another.”

Walking in love keeps your faith active and effective.

🗣️ Use Your Mouth to Create Your World

Your words have power.

Genesis 1:3 (NIV):

“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

Romans 4:17 (KJV):

“Call those things which be not as though they were.”

Speak life. Speak what God has promised—even before you see it.

🙏 Remove What Blocks You from Receiving

Sometimes we must examine our hearts.

Psalm 66:18–20 (NLT):

“If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened…
But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer.”

Repentance clears the way for God to move freely in your life.

🌟 Testimony: The Power of Words and Obedience

My dad, who has gone home to be with the Lord, spoke blessings over me and my siblings. When he saw certain things operating in us, he would say:

“That is not my son or daughter,”
and then declare the Word of God over us.

When I was 18, he spoke over me:
👉 “There are books in you, businesses in you, and songs in you.”

At the time, I didn’t understand. I was in college and couldn’t see it.

But today, those words have manifested—books, songs, and businesses. And the best is still yet to come as I continue to obey God, walk in love, hear, and do His Word.

The website itself was birthed from my dad’s confession.

God later led me to watch Esther. Afterward, I was led into a fast—spending time in the Word, prayer, praise, and quiet time with God.

That night, I had a dream about going into freelance writing.

As I researched, blogging stood out the most.

Mrs. Brenda Nichols, who has also gone home to be with the Lord, was my writing advisor. When I asked her what I should write about, she asked me what I was passionate about.

I said, “Encouraging people.”

From there:

  • God gave me the name of the website
  • The phrases for the blogs
  • The platform to use
  • The instruction to post every Sunday

God has used my family, a coworker, and readers to inspire blog topics. One reader suggested creating merchandise, which led to the online store.

All of this came from:

  • Obeying God
  • Persistance
  • Speaking life

Since 2018, I have depended on God—and He has never failed me.

To God be the glory for the great things He has done and continues to do.

🙌 Prayer

God, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus. Because of Your love and His sacrifice, I have access through faith to healing, salvation, provision, love, forgiveness of sin, joy, and peace.

I repent of anything that is blocking me from receiving from You.

Help me to walk in love and pray for those who do wrong toward me, whether knowingly or unknowingly for my faith to work.

Thank You, Lord, that You always cause me to triumph through Jesus.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
