We all want certain situations to change in our lives. We have prayed to God about it and told others. We all want to know the whole picture. What have God already told you rather through the word of God or personally speaking to you? Are you asking for more when you have not done what God originally told you to do?
John 12:36 Amplified Version: Walk while you have the Light [keep on living by it], so that darkness will not overtake you. He who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going [he is drifting aimlessly]. 36 While you have the Light, believe and trust in the Light [have faith in it, hold on to it, rely on it], so that you may become sons of Light [being filled with Light as followers of God].”
Matthew 13:12: 12 For whoever has [spiritual wisdom because he is receptive to God’s word], to him more will be given, and he will be richly and abundantly supplied; but whoever does not have [spiritual wisdom because he has devalued God’s word], even what he has will be taken away from him.
Do what you know to do by obeying God’s word and revelations God gives you. Be consistent and God will lead you to victory!
Testimony: A thought came to me one evening to watch the movie Esther on Netflix. It led me into going on a spiritual fast. I went to sleep and a dream came to me to do freelance writing. I researched freelance writing and “blog” stood out to me the most. I asked my writing advisor what I should do the blog on? ” The writing adviser asked me what are you passionate about? I said “I like to encourage people.” Everything began to unfold and revelation knowledge came. God gave me phrases while I was walking on my breaks at work. I researched the site to put my blogs on and God led me to WordPress. Obedience to God, following the instructions that were given to me brought me to six years doing the blogs and an online store. The more I had, more was given to me, as I walked in the Light that God had given me.
Do what you are told, and more will unfold!
Prayer: Father I thank you for your written word as a guide to navigate through life. I repent of trying to do things on my own without your help. I walk in the light of your word and what you tell me, and more light will come to reach my destination. Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. Through faith and patience. I inherit the promises of God which are “yes, and amen” to the glory of the Father.” I receive right now and thank you in advance for the victory. In Jesus name Amen!
