The Exciting Journey Has Begun, Living In The Son

A lot of us as believers have been tricked by the devil in believing living a life for God is boring. It is causing a lot of us to be tempted into the life of sin. Remember, the devil wants you to take the bait so you can miss eternity with God. We know from the previous blog that the devil is the Father of lies, a thief that kills, steals, and destroys. The devil does it through our minds and through the airwaves of media, because he is the prince of the power of the air. God gives us all things to richly enjoy. However, in order to get everlasting and great results we have to do it the kingdom way.

Ephesians 5:18 HCSB Translation: 18 And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless actions, but be filled by the Spirit.

Getting drunk only has a temporary high with negative side effects: hangover, doing things that are shameful and self destructive which you will regret later. God’s high is everlasting. We are created for the supernatural. That is why people get high or drunk because there is a spiritual void. It was a guy I went to high school with that always came to school high. One day he said he went to church and experienced the presence of God. He said it was a feeling he couldn’t explain. He said it was better than getting high. Everyone started laughing at him saying he was probably high again. They were right: he was high off the presence of God. I have experienced it and there is nothing like it. Deliverance comes. Boldness comes. God reveals secrets and dreams to me. I have my own heavenly language. It is an exciting and amazing journey. We can deal with many challenges that come our way when we are on a spiritual high. We are spiritual beings with different gifts and abilities. Stay filled with the spirit by being in the presence of God, and spending time with Him to tap into the supernatural realm..

John 7:37 Message Version:  Jesus took his stand. He cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way, just as the Scripture says.”

People are thirsty for something higher but drugs, alcohol, or sex will not quench our thirst because we are spiritual beings housed in a natural body. Only God can satisfy us. Psalm 34:8 says taste and see that the Lord is good. We have to experience Him for ourselves by hearing, reading, speaking, worshipping, and spending time alone with Him. There is nothing like it. God gave me the blog through spending time with Him in worship. He spoke to me. I obeyed Him. As I was sleeping, God told me to do a blog. Now, I have an online store with phrases to encourage and uplift people. He is still revealing things to me concerning inventions to encourage people. I am grateful and amazed at the goodness of God.

Living for God doesn’t come without sacrifice. However, God sacrificed His only Son for us. Any movie or television show without any obstacles, showing everything going good all the time, is boring. The good news is God is with us through every challenge if we lean, trust, and hold on to His goodness. When things get hard, we can count on God to see us through.

Matthew 11:29-30 King James Version: 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The woman at the well in John 4 is an example of filling a spiritual void through several relationships with men.

John 4:13-18 NIV Version: 13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”17 “I have no husband,” she replied.Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. 18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.”

Only God can satisfy your longing soul better than a marriage or a relationship can ever do. Please read John 4 in its entirety. The woman at the well went and told others about Jesus. Once you are free and experience God for yourself, you can tell others about the goodness of God.

Solomon was also someone that realized at the end of his life after having many women, wealth , and wisdom that it was all vanity. Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 1 that he has seen everything and that there was nothing new under the sun because he did everything he desired. In Ecclesiastes 8:15, Solomon concluded that the best thing in life is to enjoy people, the fruits of your labor, and most importantly to love God. This is truly living: making God first, enjoying the fruits of your labor, and enjoying people.

The exciting journey has begun, living in the Son!

Prayer: God I thank you for creating me for the purpose to glorify you. Nothing can satisfy me like you can. I repent for filling the spiritual void with things that can only give me a temporary high. Every challenge I encounter I give it to you because your yoke is easy and burden is light. God I put you first, enjoy the fruits of my labor, and enjoy people. A life without you God and your spirit living in me is meaningless and all vanity. I taste of your goodness God, and walk in the supernatural. I give you the glory and honor! In Jesus name Amen!

God’s Glory Is Shown, When We Roll Away The Stone!

People are celebrating today the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus took all our sins on the cross, suffered pain and died. Thank God He rose again so we can live a new life through Him. A lot of us as believers accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. However, in order to live in the power of God and have victory over sin, we must roll away the stone of how we used to live. We must live the kingdom way to experience all the promises God has for us in His word.

Romans 12:12: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

It is an everyday thing renewing the mind to God’s kingdom. I mentioned on the previous blog to be sober and vigilant because the devil is as a roaring lion seeking a person to devour. Renewing the mind to the word of God everyday is the way to be vigilant (watch & pray). Matthew 26:41: “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

2 Corinthians 10:5 Easy Read Version: we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ.

Our mind is like a garden. We can’t accept the bait the devil brings to our minds that is contrary to the word of God. Immediately cast the thought down with the word of God. Do not let the thoughts that are not of God linger. To take every thought captive means to put the thought under the control of God and not letting it control you. 1 Corinthians 2:16 says: We have the mind of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 New King James Version: 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Once you have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, you roll away the stone of a life of death and destruction. You are now resurrected to live in life and peace. When you fall short, confess, repent, and live under the grace; the life Jesus died for. Click link and read blog “The Inner Man Is New; Now Work On The Other Part Of You” Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:31 I die daily. It is a constant dying to the life of sin/flesh and living a life of God.

If you are not saved, you forfeit eternity with Jesus and are doomed to a life of damnation with the devil. Accept God now. Repent of your sins. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. Believe in your heart that Christ was raised from the dead. You are now in the kingdom family. Continue to renew your mind to kingdom living. Ask God to help you in areas you fall short. Live the glorified life that Jesus died for. Let God’s kingdom come! His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

God’s glory is shown, when we roll away the stone!

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for making me a new creation through your Son Jesus crucifixion. I walk in newness of life so that your glory is manifested in my life that draws others into the kingdom of God. I die daily to my sinful nature and renew my mind to the word of God. I take every thought that is not in line with God’s word and cast it down with the word of God. Help me God in areas that I have a challenge in. I live the resurrected life and roll away the stone of my old life. Thanks be to God who always causes me to triumph through Him. In Jesus name! Amen!

The Devil Lays In Wait. Do Not Take The Bait!

It is good to know your enemy so you can be ready. Most athletes study their opponents so they can win. I have seen during a game where the team is down and comes back and win. I have also seen when a team is up and they celebrate too soon, the other team throws them off and they lose the game. That is how the enemy works He comes at you when you are on a high and when you are at your lowest to catch you off guard.

1 Peter 5:8 NIV Version: Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent, the Devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

We have to stay on guard when we on a high and when we are at our lowest by spending time with God. Living in the word of God is the only way to stay spiritually aware and strong.

Ephesians 2:2 describes the devil as the prince of the power of the air. The radio, television, internet, and social media all operate through airwaves. The enemy uses that to manipulate and control how we behave. Stay rooted in the word of God and stay on the love walk because faith works by love. 1 Corinthians 14:33 says 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. We should use social media to glorify God with the gifts and purpose God has for our lives.

Revelation 12:10 says the devil is the accuser of the brethren/mankind. There is a saying when you are pointing the finger at someone else two are pointing back at you. We all have issues. The first person we should look at is ourselves. The devil loves when we argue and point fingers at each other. It is a no win situation. There is no one that is good but God (Mark 10:18). James 2:10: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. A mature person looks at themselves. I Corinthians 11:31 says judge yourself so you won’t be judged. We have to give an account to God at the day of judgement for ourselves, not anyone else.

The devil also wants you to condemn yourself . The devil will bring a thought, a person, or a thing to get you distracted and when you fall short have you beating yourself up. As my Aunt Mary would say “confess and get up out that mess!”

John 10:10: 10 The thief (the devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Murders, robbing/stealing and destruction is of the devil. Anything robbing you of your joy, peace, and prosperity is of the devil. Anything killing your spirit and dragging you down is of the devil. Destruction and chaos in your life is of the devil.

John 8:44 says that the devil is the Father of all lies. Anything that is against the word of God is a lie. Any deception is of the devil. Romans 3:4 says let God’s word be true every person a liar. John 14:6 says I am the way The Truth and the Life! God’s word is the final truth above any person or thing. If it doesn’t line up with the word of God it is deception.

Now that we know our enemy we know how to fight and win with the help of God. Ephesians 6:12: 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We can do like Jesus when the devil comes at us we have to submit to God, resist the devil, and then He will flee by saying “it is written.” The word is powerful, quick and sharper than any two edged sword. Speak the word and cut through demonic forces. Read Ephesians 6:11-18 concerning the armor God.

I am thankful for the people in my life that gives me Godly wisdom, corrects me, reminds me to walk in love, stay rooted and grounded in the word of God. Psalm 1:1 says blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the ungodly. In order to be blessed we must receive sound and Godly counsel.

The devil lays in wait. Do not take the bait!

Prayer: God thank you for being The Truth. God I stay spiritually alert by meditating and reading your word in and out of season. God I recognize the devil schemes to lie, kill, still, destroy my life, and condemn me to hell. Thank God because I accept you as Lord in my life I can repent and I am made righteous through faith, not under condemnation. I use the media for your glory and purpose you have for my life. I repent for acting like the devil finger pointing. I judge myself first. God help me in areas that I have challenges in. I thank you I have the victory through you. In Jesus name! Amen.

You’re A Mature One, When You Master The Tongue

As believers, we’ve heard a lot on the power of speaking the word of God to manifest and bring heaven to earth. The tongue has power that can change the atmosphere (good or bad) and the devil knows it. We all have not been perfect when it comes to what we say. We need the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us with our tongue. The Holy Spirit is our teacher. God led me to James 3 concerning the tongue one morning. The book of James mostly deals with the tongue.

James 1:19: Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to get angry

James 1:26 Amplified Version: 26 If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his faith) and does not bridle his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person’s religious service is worthless (futile, barren).

James 3:5-12 Message Version: 5-6 It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell.7-10 This is scary: You can tame a tiger, but you can’t tame a tongue—it’s never been done. The tongue runs wild, a wanton killer. With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the same tongues we curse the very men and women he made in his image. Curses and blessings out of the same mouth!10-12 My friends, this can’t go on. A spring doesn’t gush fresh water one day and brackish the next, does it? Apple trees don’t bear strawberries, do they? Raspberry bushes don’t bear apples, do they? You’re not going to dip into a polluted mud hole and get a cup of clear, cool water, are you?

Live Well, Live Wisely:

James 3:13-17 Message Version” 13-16 Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts. Mean-spirited ambition isn’t wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn’t wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn’t wisdom. It’s the furthest thing from wisdom—it’s animal cunning, devilish plotting. Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats.17-18 Real wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor.

Let us examine ourselves. Use the tongue to uplift and encourage each other into good works. The major thing is love because it fulfils the law of God. That’s how people know we are of God. Read 1 Corinthians 13 everyday to perfect the love walk. Whatever seed we sow (good or bad) will multiply. Repent when you speak out of line and ask God to help you. Ask God to put a check in your spirit concerning your mouth. The Holy Spirit has corrected me many times. Most importantly, when situations arise, ask God what you should say before opening your mouth. In your quietness is your strength (Isaiah 30:15).

Ephesian 4:29 Easy Read Version: 29 When you talk, don’t say anything bad. But say the good things that people need—whatever will help them grow stronger. Then what you say will be a blessing to those who hear you.

Matthew 12:26=37 Easy Read 36 I tell you that everyone will have to answer for all the careless things they have said. This will happen on the day of judgment. 37 Your words will be used to judge you. What you have said will show whether you are right or whether you are guilty.”

You’re a mature one, when you master the tongue!

Prayer: God, I thank you for seeing us through a pure heart. God, help us as believers to see people, situations, and things through your eyes. God, I repent for saying things to slander, hurt, gossip, and damage people. God, help me with my tongue. Put a check in my spirit when I am speaking out of line. I am quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Let my life speak louder than what my words say. God, I let you be glorified through me. I meditate, read, and speak your word to uproot bad trees in my life. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Lord, I fill my heart with your word. I give you the praise, glory and honor! I thank you for the victory in Jesus name!

God’s Manifested Glory Tells The Story!

Most of us as believers have heard this verse in the bible: Romans 3:23: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Before sin entered into the earth with Adam and Eve, they both did not know they were naked because they were clothed in the glory of God. They saw things through the eyes of God. However, when they disobeyed God, the glory left and they saw that they were naked. Sin then entered in the earth. Thank God He loved us enough that He sent His son Jesus to die for our sins and now we are made righteous through faith. We are no longer under the law. The next verse over in Romans 3 :24 (paraphrasing)said we are justified by grace through redemption in Jesus Christ when He took our sins and everything on the cross and died for us.

When we repent of our sins and start meditating, listening, reading and speaking the word of God, Romans 8:1 says there is now no condemnation when we get back in Christ! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God! If you want the manifested glory in your life, it begins with the word of God. The word was God and is God (John 1:1). We as believers have the glory available to us. All we have to do is stay and cling to the word of God until the glory comes in every area of our lives.

God will keep you from the pull of sin and fleshly desires. The key is to focus on the righteousness of God and not your own righteousness which is as filthy rags. A lot of us focus so much on what not to do instead of the grace of God and who we are in Christ. That is operating under a curse. 2 Corinthians 3:6 He has qualified us [making us sufficient] as ministers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not of the letter [of a written code] but of the Spirit; for the letter [of the Law] kills [by revealing sin and demanding obedience], but the Spirit gives life.

God’s word is spirit and life. We can bring heaven to earth by being focused on who we are in Christ. A hymn titled “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” has a verse that says: Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face; and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. Glory to God! The glory comes when we fix our eyes on the word of God until our situation that we presently see will grow dim because we are shining the light of God’s word on it. That is truly the glory of God!

The law let us know what is right and what is wrong. We are now under a new law of grace because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. Grace gives us the power to live right. God doesn’t give us grace so we can sin. God doesn’t want us to die in our sins and miss eternity with Him. He is not willing that any should perish but that all come to repentance 2 Peter 3:8. Feed your spirit daily and kill the works of the flesh to operate in the power and glory of God. The more we feed our spirit man the more the pull of sin will have no power over us.

Instead of focusing on what you can’t do, focus on this: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me Philippians 4:13. When you fall short, repent and get back in the glory and ask God to help you. The enemy wants us to dwell on our failures operating under the law of sin and death to keep us in our sin. It will leave you hopeless and feeling guilty. A righteous man falls seven times and get back up again Proverbs 24:16. Get up, repent, and then start walking in righteousness! Stay with God until things around you grows dim until all you can see is God and then you can see the glory manifested.

As I mature in Christ, if I see a fellow believer in sin or doing things that is not in line with the word of God, before I go to that person I ask God if I should confront that person. Sometimes He will tell me don’t say anything and when the timing is right He prompts me what to say to them. God will reveal to me the heart of the issue. Man looks on the outward but God looks on the heart. I consider myself because any of us can fall into temptation. Live the life before people and they will be drawn to the glory of God in you . Our lives are a testimony within itself. God didn’t send His son into the world to condemn them but that the world through Him maybe saved John 3:17. We as believers should be like Jesus. We want to take as many people into the kingdom not run them away . There are times when we should speak up and confront things even Jesus rebuked certain spirits in people. Sometimes I rebuke myself when God reveals to me evil that is operating within me. Let us as believers be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to get angry James 1:19.

Those who are not saved give your life to Christ and repent of your sins to see the glory of God. Romans 10:9-10 says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Just this week after studying on the grace of God, the enemy tempted me while I was sleeping with thoughts of lust. The devil comes immediately for the word. I cast down the thought immediately and declared my body belongs to God. I declared I flee youthful lusts. Marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled. I submitted to the word of God, resisted the devil, and He had to flee.

Jude verses 24-25: 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

I know God to be a keeper. We can’t do it without bringing the glory of God’s word in our situations. Only He is able to keep us from falling.

Believers people are waiting to see the manifested glory in our lives. Let’s walk it out where people can see and we can tell people about the goodness of God.

God’s Manifested Glory Tells The Story!

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for your word. It is living and has power to bring the glory. I repent for not seeing things through your eyes. I fix my eyes upon you God and my current challenges grows dim as I shine the light of your word on it. I thank you for the law because without it I wouldn’t know what is right and what is wrong. Lord, I thank you for the new covenant through Jesus sacrificing His life on the cross for my sins. Now I have the grace to live right. I repent of any sins in my life and now that I am back in Christ I don’t have to live under condemnation. I thank you for your manifested glory in my life. Now unto him that is able to keep me from falling, and to present me faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

The Enemy Is Destroyed, When We Begin To Praise the Lord!

God spoke through my dad for the phrase for the blog. It is easy to praise God and tell Him how good He is when things are going good. It takes faith to praise God when all hell is breaking loose around you. David said in Psalm 116:7: I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. Hebrews 13:15:Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

Before you go into battle, send praise like Jehoshaphat did in 2 Chronicles 20. Begin praising and thanking God because the victory is already won. Psalm 68:1 says let God arise and the enemies be scattered. That is what happened when Jehoshaphat and the people praised the Lord. It confused the enemy and they were destroyed.

Paul and Silas in Acts 16:16-40 They sang praises to God while chained in prison. The prison doors opened, their chains were broken, and they were set free.

When challenges arise, let praise rise higher. Do like Joshua and the people at the battle of Jericho. They shouted and blew the trumpet. They shouted and the walls came down. Shout, for the Lord has given you the victory! God always causes us to triumph through Him. Watch praise destroy the enemy of depression, addictions, strongholds, disease, debt, and everything that is an enemy to God.

The enemy is destroyed when we praise the Lord!

Prayer: I give glory to your name for you are good and your mercy endures forever. God, let your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I bring heaven to earth by lifting up praises, not my problems. God, I repent for complaining and allowing the enemy to defeat me. I thank you for the victory won on the cross. It is finished! Salvation is here! Healing is here! Deliverance is here! In Jesus name! Amen.

Prayer Outline to Reach the Divine

A lot of us have said the Lord’s prayer many times. The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Jesus was giving the disciplines an example of how to pray effectively.

Matthew 6:9 NIV: “This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name

Hallow means to honor, worship reverence and praise God. Psalm 100:4 says, Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

Matthew 6:10 NIV: 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Jesus said not my will but your will be done. The word of God is His will to bring heaven to earth.

Matthew 6:11 NIV: 11 Give us today our daily bread.

Lord, what are you saying to me today? Wait for God to speak to you. God also speaks through His word. Get you a scripture to meditate on and allow the word to speak to you. The word is God.

Matthew 6:12 NIV: And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Lord, forgive me for the things I have done that I am aware of and unaware of. God, any wrongs done to me, I forgive them. God, help me to forgive others so I can hear you properly and my prayers will go through to you. God, any sin in my life that is blocking my prayers, show them to me. Any unforgiveness in my heart toward someone, God show it to me.

Matthew 6:13 King James Version: 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Ask God to help you in areas that you are weak in. Ask God to keep you from evil and protect you. End your prayer in thanksgiving to God.

Prayer outline to connect to the divine!

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for being “I AM” and the creator. Lord, I operate according to your word. God, you lead and guide me. It is not my will, but your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God, I repent of my sins and forgive others who have sinned against me. God, help me in areas that I am weak and fall short. I can’t do life without you in the center of it. God, protect me from evil and myself. God, I give you the praise in Jesus name! Amen.

Avoid Stressing. Speak The Blessing!

A lot of things are going on in the world right now: with Ukraine and Russia at war and the pandemic still affecting us. Things seem hopeless. However, for the people of God, we have hope. Because we accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we know we will live forever with God.

A quote one of my team leaders used for black history month by Coretta Scott King stood out to me: ” It doesn’t matter how strong your opinions are. If you don’t use your power for positive change, you are, indeed, part of the problem.” That phrase has resonated with me and made me search within myself. We as believers can complain about what is happening in the world, but if we won’t be the light or do something about it, we are part of the problem. We are made in the image and likeness of God, and He spoke the world into existence. We as believers can start speaking what God says to transform situations and things around us.

If we have bad fruit in most cases, we must ask ourselves what are we saying? I also learned when we speak the word of God, we should speak by faith. Not out of desperation, because faith along with action produces fruit.

Proverbs 18:20 NIV: From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips, they are satisfied.

It is important that we hear, meditate, and read the word of God so it can get into our hearts. Luke 6:45 NIV: A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Genesis 1:28 King James Version says: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

One way to be fruitful is what we say out of our mouth. We are the seed of Abraham. We call things that be not as though they were. It is easy when you are tried with challenge after challenge to think and speak negative. There is a song that says, “You say it best when you say nothing at all.” Sometimes to keep from speaking negative, it is best to be quiet and go to God about it. Check out the blogs (click title to open links) “Put your Mouth to Rest During A Test” and “When Going Through Hell Say All Is Well”

Avoid stressing and speak the blessing! Online store available at

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your word which is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, and can transform any situation. God, I repent for speaking against the word of God and letting challenges get the best of me. I hear, meditate, read and speak your word every day to bring light in dark situations. God, you are a present help in trouble and that present help is your word. The word is God and it all started in the beginning. I see God through His word in every aspect of my life. I am fruitful, I multiply, replenish, and subdue the earth and take dominion with my words. I speak and bear good fruit. I give you the praise for it in Jesus’ name!

Make God Your One And Only. You Will Never Be Lonely

Everyone goes through a time in their lives where they feel alone and in it by themselves. It could be coming out of a bad relationship and being single. It could be trouble in a marriage where you feel alone. It could be challenges where you work or starting a new career/business where you feel out of place. It could be facing health issues or taking care of a loved one with health issues. It could be issues with family and friends. It could be facing the passing of loved ones. It can make anyone feel alone. God is with us through those situations if we turn our attention towards Him. He can bring us through any situation.
Hebrews 13:5 God says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
Matthew 28:20 Living Translation: Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this—that I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”
Psalm 23:4 NIV Version: Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
It is good to know that we are not alone. However, we must spend time with God. He is the best person you can ever get into a relationship with.
James 4:8: Come near to God and he will come near to you.
Jesus knows what we are going through. Draw close to Him and fellowship with Him. God knows the beginning and the ending of everything that you are going through.
In the book of Genesis starting at Chapter 37, Joseph went through a lot. However, if you read through the verses it said, “But God was with Him.” Joseph kept the love of God and focused on God through being sold into slavery by his brothers, Potiphar’s wife trying to sleep with him, Potiphar’s wife lying on Joseph and being put in prison, and Joseph being forgotten by one of the prisoners when he got out after he helped him. Joseph held onto operating in his gift and staying close to God. He went from being a slave to being free. He ended up ruling when he used to work under Potiphar. Joseph even got married and had children. God can do the same for us.
Those that are not saved receive Him now. Read Romans 10:9-10.
Some of us have a longing to be married, to have a better marriage, business, financial stability, a child, better health, and the list goes on. God can fulfill you if you spend time with Him.
Psalm 107:9 King James Version: For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
Proverbs 8:17 says You will find me if you seek me early.
The times we get up early is the time to fellowship with God. It is quiet and you can hear Him. Sit quietly before speaking so He can speak to you. Read the word of God because the word is God. John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The following are two examples in the bible where the people were by themselves but were not alone and were complete.
Adam, starting in Genesis Chapter 2, was in charge over the Garden of Eden by himself. He was fellowshipping with God and operating in His purpose before God gave Him Eve. God told him in Genesis 2:18 NIV Version: The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Those of you who desire to be married, begin fellowshipping with God in the morning. Talk to Him and He will reveal His purpose to you. As you are focused on your purpose and fellowshipping with God, He will send someone for you not just godly with good character or good chemistry, but someone that is suitable for the purpose and call you have for your life. The definition of suitable is right or appropriate for a particular person, purpose, or situation. I can attest to this. Me spending time with God is how this blog came about and He is constantly revealing other things to me. I am like Adam fellowshipping with God and operating in my purpose to encourage people. God has the person for us that is appropriate for His glory and His will on the earth.
My Aunt Mary reminded me of John who was another person who was exiled to the Island of Patmos in Revelation 1:9 because of serving God. While he was there, he fellowshipped with God. God revealed things to him and that is how the book of Revelation came about. During Covid 19, you may feel alone but you are not. God is with you. Get close to Him. He will reveal Himself to you.
Make God your one and only. You will never be lonely!

Prayer: Lord, I thank you that you never leave me or forsake me. I thank you God that no matter what situation I face I am not alone. As I draw near to you, you will draw close to me and fellowship with me. You know the beginning and the ending. You are The Way, The Truth, and The Light in every situation. I hold onto you through challenging situations and when things are going well. I give you the praise and the glory. In Jesus name! Amen.
