Naturally, in order for us to live, we must feed ourselves food to survive. Some foods are harder to digest and we have to eat a small amount. We sometimes eat half of the food and then come back later to finish it. It is the same with our spirit; we must feed on the word of God to survive spiritually. Sometimes when we read a chapter or scripture. we have to keep reading it until we get revelation of it. There are times you may get instant revelation and other times you have to keep reading it.
Psalm 119:30: The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
John 8:31-32: If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Joshua 1:8: . 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful
It is easy to believe we know a scripture until challenges come to test our faith. God has me this week meditating on one passage of scripture. I am feeding on it. As I keep reading, different revelations unfold. I am sticking with the process. It is easy to pile our plate full by reading a lot of scriptures and listening to a lot of teaching. Teaching without revelation and manifestation will keep us going in circles. Maybe your plate is too full and you need to start out small . It is okay.
Don’t just read, Feed!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for your word you left as a manual for my life. I feed on your word until it becomes reality in my life. I repent for getting spiritually fat, and going nowhere. It is not healthy. I continue in the word, I know the truth, and the truth sets me free from anything that has me bound. In Jesus name! Amen!
