Instead of Going to Phone, Go To The Throne

My aunt Mary gave her testimony to me over the phone and then God gave her the phrase. We started praising God . She said she misplaced her phone. She did not concern herself looking for the phone. She went to the bathroom which is her prayer room and God told her where the phone was. It is good to have people to talk to because in a multitude of Godly counsel there is safety. However, we should go to God first before calling anyone. God gives wisdom to anyone who asks without condemnation. Are you having challenges in your life? Instead of calling someone or scrolling the phone on social media , take time with God first. If we draw near to God, he will draw near to us.

Matthew 6:31-34 Living Translation: 31-32 “So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, 33 and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.34 “So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time.

Early morning is the best time to seek God, because it is quiet. Jesus would talk to God in the morning, in the cool of the day. In the book I read “Several Keys To Power Praying”, the author said before giving your request ask “God, what is on your heart?” Each time I have done this God speaks to me. We can also begin with the word of God. John 1:1 says in the beginning was the word and the word was with God, the word was God which became flesh. God speaks mainly through His word. Most importantly, being a doer of God’s word. Faith without works is dead. I would speak to my aunt with scriptures and she would tell me “All you have to do is step.” She was telling me to put feet to faith. Signs follows those that believe (Matthew 16:17-18),

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We have to feed our faith daily. People can intercede for you when you are feeling weak. However, if we wait on the Lord, he will renew our strength. The great shepherd leads, guides, protects, comfort, and keep us through every season. If you are not saved, please give your life to Christ so you can clearly hear the voice of God. If there is any unforgiveness before you pray, forgive (Mark 11:25) so we can hear from God.

Isaiah 40:30-31 King James: 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Instead of going to the phone, go to the throne!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for being all knowing. I repent for not putting you first and running to people and things instead of running to you first. I come to your throne of grace to find help in time of need. I draw near to you. I forgive all those who have hurt me. I give you the praise glory and honor in Jesus name. Amen!
