We as believers are the light of the world. Light shines in darkness; it does not dim out. The time is now to truly trust God and walk by faith, not by what we see. Things may seem dark, dim, dead, and hopeless in your life. However, as believers in Jesus Christ we have Christ in us, the hope of glory.
First, there is no other way, We must believe in Jesus, and rely on Him, and ask God to show us the way. He is the only way to a victorious life here on earth.
John 14:1-6 Amplified Version: Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. 4 And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going; so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “[a]I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Second, when we believe in Jesus and obey what he tells us to do, we can do greater works than He did .The greatest commandment is love because faith works by love.
John 14: 12-15: Amplified Version: 12 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name , as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.15 “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.
Finally, we must testify about the goodness of God in our lives . We must speak the word of God, not the circumstance, that is also how we testify and overcome the challenges here on earth. Faith is what we do not see. If we see it, that is not faith. We bring glory to God when we testify of who He is, what He has done for us and His finished work. All we have to do is receive what He has already done through faith.
Revelation 12:11-12 Amplified Version: “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom (dominion, reign) of our God, and the authority of His Christ have come; for the accuser of our [believing] brothers and sisters has been thrown down [at last], he who accuses them and keeps bringing charges [of sinful behavior] against them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them [in the presence of God]. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you in great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time [remaining]!”
Don’t let the devil put you under condemnation. Repent and get back on the right track because there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. Faith in Jesus’ Blood justifies us. A righteous man falls seven times and gets back up. Don’t let the devil keep you in your sin. Get up and keep walking with God through faith; it is how we overcome and walk in the boldness and power of God. Those who are not saved, give your life to Jesus by confessing you are sinner in need of a Savior, believe in your heart in Jesus resurrection, and receive Him for your salvation. Begin walking by faith in the truth of God’s word.
Now is the hour, to walk in Jesus resurrected power!
Prayer: God, I thank you for loving me enough by sacrificing your only Son Jesus for my redemption to live a victorious life. I repent for not believing in you, not testifying of your goodness, and living in condemnation because of my sins. I repent and get back in Christ. I now have no condemnation because I am back in Christ. I am obedient to your word. I walk in love like God, who loved me enough to make the ultimate sacrifice. I lay down my will to God’s will. Because I believe in Jesus and obey your word I do greater works than Jesus did to glorify God. I walk in Jesus resurrection power through faith because the just lives by faith. In Jesus name Amen!
