Awake From Your Sleep. It Is Time To Reap!

God led me to my past blog about the harvest while worshipping Him . Read No Time For Rest, Before The Harvest. I was led to listen to an anointed pastor on the series of harvesting. It is more than just sowing seeds and making confessions. We have to gather the harvest by doing what the word of God says and following the leading of the Holy Spirit by being obedient.

Proverbs 10:5: 5 He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.

Hebrews 11:6: But without faith, it is impossible to please Him. For he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Proverbs 8:17: I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me.

When we wake up early in the morning, it is a great time to seek God. Everything is quiet, with no distractions, and God speaks. Find time in the morning to get instructions from God. Do what you know to do in the natural until you get instructions from God on what to do next.

As believers, the ground must be good to receive the harvest, just like farming. If the soil is not suitable, you will not receive the harvest.

Matthew 13:18 New Living Translation:18 “Now listen to the explanation of the parable about the farmer planting seeds: 19 The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message about the Kingdom and don’t understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts. 20 The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. 21 But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. 22 The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. 23 The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”

I choose the good ground. Meditate, hear the word of God, and speak it until it becomes rooted in you so you can produce a harvest. Be like our spiritual Father Abraham; He did not grow weak in faith, but he gave glory to God. Abraham was fully persuaded God would do what He promised. Read Romans Chapter 4. Whatever crop you want to see results, whether money, relationships, business, or health, get the seed of the word of God. Do what it says to receive the harvest.

As believers, having good ground concerning our finances starts with tithing. Does it seem you can’t get ahead concerning money, and it looks like money leaves time you get it? There is an open door for the devourer (the devil) to come eat it up. God blessed me because I consistently tithe. Even when I had a small income, God took care of my needs. To receive the overflow, give beyond the tithes as God leads you. I experienced the overflow when I am obedient. There were times when I was disobedient and suffered. Even when the conditions seem like you can’t give, give anyway, if you wait for the situation to be proper, things will come up and stop you from harvesting. You have to start somewhere.

Ecclesiastes 11: 4-5: 4 But there are some things that you cannot be sure of. You must take a chance. If you wait for perfect weather, you will never plant your seeds. If you are afraid that every cloud will bring rain, you will never harvest your crops.5 You don’t know where the wind blows. And you don’t know how a baby grows in its mother’s womb. In the same way, you don’t know what God will do—and he makes everything happen.

Malachi 3:8-12 8 “Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. 12 “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

Give with the right heart. In Genesis 4, God did not accept Cain’s offering but accepted Abel’s. Abel gave with the right spirit and motive. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says: So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. If your heart is not correct, it is best to keep it because it will not work. Ask God to help you. He deals with everyone according to their faith. 23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First, go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift. Faith works by love; if you have unforgiveness or offenses, it will not work.

Are you diligent or procrastinating in the areas where you are not receiving the harvest? You reap what you sow; are you planting what you want? Each seed produces after its kind. Are you walking in love? Ask God to show you areas that need improvement to see the harvest.

Awake from your sleep. It is time to reap!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for doing above and beyond what I can think. You are the God of multiplication. I repent of procrastinating and being lazy concerning the word of God. God, search my heart and see if there is anything wicked in me. Lead me to the way of everlasting so I can receive my harvest. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
