Stop Acting Crappy, For Others Be Genuinely Happy!

The phrase came to me as I congratulated and rejoiced with someone on their victory and success. It can be challenging to rejoice with someone about the same thing you believed in, which has not yet manifested in your life. It is a test to get you depressed and discouraged. You can be congratulating someone and feel like God has forgotten about you. Yet, there is power in rejoicing with others. It should encourage you to build up your faith for your deliverance.

Romans 12:15 says, Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. This means we should be of the same mind, that is, love. Faith works by Love. If you’re only thinking about yourself, that is not love. 1 Corinthians 13:5: Love is not self-seeking. The best thing to do to get our minds off ourselves is to pray and do good for others that are going through it.

Job is a great example. When Job was going through His trial, his friends were quiet at first. However, when they opened their mouths, they spoke evil. Job 42:10 says: After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.

Begin praying for people while you are going through. Sow into people who are where you want to be. Job acted out Psalm 126:5-6: he sowed in tears and reaped in joy the harvest.

Revelation 12:11: They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.

Others’ testimony empowers us for deliverance.

Stop acting crappy; for others, be genuinely happy!

Prayer: Father, thank you for being good. I repent for being selfish and only thinking about myself. I rejoice with those that rejoice. There is power in someone else’s testimony. God, you are no respecter of persons. What you do for others, you have already done for me. I pray and do good for others, and I have my deliverance in Jesus’ name! Amen.
