A lot of us have things we go through that are painful. The pain can be unbearable. Jesus knows because he went through the pain on the cross for us. Surrender the pain over to God, and He will restore it.
Isaiah 53:3-4 NIV: 3 He was despised and rejected by men. A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows.
Jesus took our grief and carried our sorrow, which means we don’t have to accept it. Jesus endured suffering, rejection, and died, but God restored Him to life. God can do the same for us when we give it to Him.
Psalm 34:19: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
Job 23:10 Amplified Version:10 “But He knows how I take [and He pays attention to it].
When He has tried me, I will come forth as [refined] gold [pure and luminous].
Joel 2:25 New King James Version: 25 “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust,
The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame.
It can cut like a knife, but God restores your life!
Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for taking my grief, sorrow, and rejection and bearing it on the cross. I thank you, God! You deliver me out of all of my afflictions. I repent for carrying the hurt and pain and give it all to you. Thank you, God! You restore the years that were taken from me, and I won’t be put to shame. I may have trials, but I am coming out like Job as pure gold. I give you the praise and the honor. It is done, in Jesus’ name!
