Deed: a legal document that is signed and delivered, especially one regarding the ownership of property or legal rights.
Title: a document that shows legal ownership of a property or asset.
We have a legal right because Jesus sacrificed His life for us and took everything on the cross. The promises of God are our title and deed. Our written document of everything we need is in the word of God. It can only be accessed by faith. Those that have not accepted Jesus as Lord read Romans 10:9-10 and join the family of God to gain access to the blessing.
We have heard faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. However, there is another version that can boost our faith and take what is rightfully ours.
Hebrews 11:1-2 Amplified Version: Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2 For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval.
Our faith is the title deed. However, faith comes by hearing the word of God. It is not a one-time thing. We listened to the saying, “How can two walk together except they be agreed (Amos 3:3)” A pastor I was listening to said it best: our soul has to catch up with our spirit in order for it to manifest. Our soul has to align with our spirit. We prosper as our soul prospers (3 John 1:2)
Once we start hearing, speaking, and meditating on the word daily, our soul prospers. When we start believing the word of God, our feelings begin to match our spirit for manifestation. We all need people and mentors that press us to be diligent in the things of God. God is a rewarder for those that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). When a spiritual leader or pastor teaches something, study it to get results.
Joshua 18:3 King James Version: And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
We should be tired of putting up with not possessing healing, land, houses, peace, love, joy, and every promise God has for us. When our soul aligns with our spirit, that is where faith comes for manifestation by being consistent in the word of God.
I wrote out scriptures for what I believed in listening to a pastor. The pastor said to sign it and confess it. Stevie Wonder’s song came to me when I signed it, “Signed, sealed, delivered,” and an inner voice said it’s yours. That was my title deed. All God’s promises are “Yes” and “Amen.” It is signed, sealed, and delivered, and it is yours, so take it!
We have all we need. Faith is the title deed!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for your mercy that never fails. I repent for failing to study your word, consistently robbing me of what is mine. I now know faith is my title deed to access what belongs to me. As a result, I am prospering my soul, and I prosper. No longer will I be slack on getting what belongs to me. It is signed, sealed, and delivered, and it is mine! In Jesus’ name! Amen!
