We all watch the weather forecast to be prepared for the weather. We bring raincoats, umbrellas, and rain boots with us to be ready for the rain when the news person announces it in the forecast. In the spirit realm, we as believers can sense when it is time for the rain in our lives through the word of God, which we can get from the teaching of an anointed speaker or prophet. We also feel the excitement and rest knowing God is faithful. So let us prepare the field for the rain. It is time to pull out our spiritual umbrella; rain is here.
1 Kings 18:41-46 NIV: 41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. 42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,43 And said to his servant, go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, there is nothing. And he said, go again seven times.44 And it came to pass at the seventh time that he said, Behold, there arises a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stops thee not.45 And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.46 And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah, and he girded up his loins and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
Get ready for the rain. Whatever God has spoken to you through His word, a preacher, teacher, or a true prophet of the word of God, receive it and expect the manifestation.
2 Chronicles 20:20: 20 Early in the morning, they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God, and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets, and you will be successful.”
No matter how it looks, expect the rain. You may be saying, “I don’t see anything happening.” Like Elijah said to the servant, I am telling you, “look again.” Expect every day by speaking it and thanking God. Isaiah 55:11 KJV says: So, shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Rain is in the weather! Pull out the umbrella!
Prayer: Lord, I thank you for another fresh word from you. You are the true and living God. Thank you, Lord, for the rain in areas that are dry. I believe in your word, spiritual leaders, prophets and I succeed. I repent for doubting what you said when I could not see it. It is already done in the spirit realm. I continue to thank you, God, in expectation because your word does not return void. I thank you for the abundance of rain! In Jesus’ name! Amen.
Glory to God!!!
We are blessed for the abundance of rain because it nourishes and grows things just as it does our spiritual lives! I
Hallelujah!!
