In order to receive more something must die. John 12:24 Living Translation “I Tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death produces many new kernels-a plentiful harvest for new lives.
The scripture came to me when I was looking for a home a few years back. The home that I wanted was tied up in a short sale but was in the neighborhood I wanted with upstairs. Someone bid higher on the home and it was sold. It really hurt me. It seems like all hope was lost and John 12:24 came to me. I knew my breakthrough was near. I ended up with a home fully furnished with stainless steel appliances. The other home did not have all the appliances. I ended up with 8,000 tax credit and the home sold for less than it was for on the market. Perfect demonstration of that scripture that became living in my life.
Sometimes relationships, careers, and things die in your life. The good news is the best is near. Spring forward, let go, and move forward to make room for the new. What has died will produce more, double for your trouble.
