I Am Not Without Flaw, But Love Fulfills The Law

It is easy to find fault and look at others sin, especially as believers. We can easily forget what we have done in the past. Like the woman that was caught in adultery in John 8. They were ready to stone her to death until Jesus said, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. They walked away.

God does not make one sin bigger than the other. 1 John 5 :17 says all unrighteousness is sin. It includes gossiping, procrastination, lying, condemning others, etc. The word of God says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

The good news is we are made righteous through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:22). However, for your faith to work we must practice love. Galatians 5:6 says faith works by love. (1 John 3:14) Amplified Version: We know that we have passed out of death into Life, because we love the brothers and sisters. He who does not love remains in [spiritual] death.

God commands us to love. John 15:12 NIV: My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

If you want to know if you are doing well as a believer check your love walk (1 Corinthians 13) read it daily. Romans 13:8 says love fulfills the law. I love the Easy Read version of Romans 13:8: You should owe nothing to anyone, except that you will always owe love to each other. The person who loves others has done all that the law commands.

Glory to God! It is simple walk-in love then you have done all that God commands.

I am not without flaw, but love fulfills the law!

Prayer: God, I thank you for your unconditional love. I thank you that even though I am flawed, you accepted me. I admit at times I have not walked in love and you command that of me. I repent for walking in disobedience. I know because I confessed my sin, you are faithful to forgive me and cleanse me. God, put a check in my spirit when I am not walking in love because I know love fulfils all the commandments. I thank you for giving me a heart of love. You sent your Son Jesus into the world not to condemn the world but the world through Him maybe saved. In Jesus name Amen.

  1. Glory Hallelujah for love and for the love of God’s word! We may fall many times but when we choose to get up and walk in love… we are representing God as well as allowing others to be loved by Him through us.

May God continue to use you and bless you 😇❤️

    1. Glory to God. Staying on the path of love.🙌
