It impressed me to read Ephesian 3. I read the chapter, and I was enlightened about operating on another level in God. I will use some examples from Ephesians 3 to give us insight as believers on going higher in our relationship with God.
Ephesians 3:14-21 New King James Version 14, For this reason, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Everything is done by faith. It takes faith to love people who misbehave. To understand the love of God and come into the fullness of God, we must stay in love. When we miss it, we can repent and ask God to help us because we cannot do it in our strength. Even Jesus, crucified on the cross, said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” If people only knew the consequences when they walk out of love, they would not do some of the things they do. When we stay in love and grow in it, we have the power for God to do abundance above all that we could ask for or think in our lives.
There was a song by Al Green that said, “Where love rules, there is more power.”
To Rise Above, Walk in Love!
Prayer: Prayer: God, help us to walk in love so we may fully know you. Please help us to operate in the power of your Holy Spirit so that you can do exceedingly, abundantly; above all; we can ask or think for your kingdom, our lives, and the lives of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
