Why Are You In Jail, When Jesus Paid Your Bail?

bail

Most of you are familiar with bail in the legal system. Once the bail is paid in full, then the prisoner is released from jail.

Jesus paid everything for us by sacrificing his life, but we remain in prison. Why do we accept the death, burial, and resurrection as believers but stay a prisoner to lack, addictions, sickness, generational curses, etc……..?

Romans 12:2 Living Translation says Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good, pleasing, and perfect.

So, when people say it runs in the family according to Galatians 3:13, Christ has redeemed me from the curse.

According to Isaiah 53:5, with the stripes of Jesus, we were healed when the doctor diagnosed illness.

When money is low, instead of saying “I am broke,” according to Philippians 4:19, my God supplies all my needs.

Are you tired of being in prison when everything is already paid for? Begin to receive what God has already done. Reprogram your mind to the word of God, so when the pressure comes, the word of God comes out. Everyone’s prison is different, just like regular jail. There are different people in for different crimes. Your bail has been paid. Walk out by faith, trusting in what God has already done!

Why are you in jail when Jesus paid your bail?

Prayer: Lord, thank you for paying the price for me by sacrificing your Son Jesus. I repent for not accepting all that you have done for me. Thank you, Jesus, for paying the price. I am no longer enslaved; I am free because Jesus set me free! Who the Son sets free, is free indeed? In Jesus’ name! Amen.
