During the holiday season things can be stressful. People can feel depressed from a loss of a loved one, working extra hours to support family, health issues, challenges in relationships/family, business challenges, and financial issues. On purpose, make someone smile.
Proverbs 17:22 says a joyful heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.
The greatest commandment is to love. Let us make God smile first, by loving each other. Use the gift you must make someone smile. It could be material gift, a word of encouragement, prayer, a phone call, spending time with someone. cooking someone’s favorite food, gift of humor. Whatever it is use your gift to brighten someone’s day.
Proverbs 11:25 King James Bible
The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watered shall be watered also himself.
When you are going through and you use your gift to brighten someone’s day you will reap the benefits; it is multiplied. Job in the Bible prayed for his friends while he was going through a challenging time and got deliverance.
Go the Extra Mile, To Make Someone Smile.
Prayer: Lord I thank you for being the true and living God. God, I uplift, encourage, and pray for others. God, I know what I put out I will receive. In Jesus name! Amen.
