Naturally, dealing with challenging things only helps us temporarily. Therefore, we must deal with it in the spirit realm by reading God’s word and obeying what God says.
Circumstances come to put you to shame. You can be on the mountaintop, and something happens to you to make a mockery of your victory. However, when you trust God, you can hold your head high. God is a God of multiplication. Whatever attacks the enemy throws your way, God blesses you. Not only does God gives it back to you, but He gives it back double.
Zechariah 9:12 New King James Version: Return to the stronghold,
You prisoners of hope. Even today, I declare That I will restore double to you.
Romans 5 tells us how to cope with challenges.
Romans 5:1-5 Living Translation: 5 So now, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in his promises, we can have real peace with him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 For because of our faith, he has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to becoming all that God has had in mind for us to be.3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient. 4 And patience develop strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. 5 Then, when that happens, we can hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Glory to God! We can hold our heads up and not be ashamed because our hope is in God and the King James version of Romans 5 says hope makes us not ashamed. Romans 10:11 NIV Version says 11. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.
If your trust is in God, you can deal with any challenges.
To Cope, Return to Hope!
Prayer: God, I thank you because my hope is in you. Lord, I will not be put to shame because my trust is in you, no matter what comes my way. I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. I am an overcomer because Jesus overcame for us. Thank you, God, that through faith and patience, I inherit the promise. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
