Webster’s meaning: Awake: To become aroused or active again. To become conscious or aware of something.
Take: 1. To get into one’s hands, possession, power, or control. a: to seize or capture physically. d: to acquire by eminent domain. 2.: Grasp or Grip 3. a: to catch or attack through the effect of a sudden force or influence. To receive or accept, whether willingly or reluctantly.
We awake by becoming active in the word of God so we can become spiritually aware and receive instructions to take what God has already provided.
Psalm 119:130 King James Version says the entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Joshua 1:8 New King James Version says 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you [Ā shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then, you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
The word of God is like natural food: the more you feed on it, the more spiritually aware we are of the spiritual realm.
Matthew 11:12 says the kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
We have been accepting and putting up with evil long enough. It is time, as people of God, to take what is rightfully ours.
Most believers are familiar with Mark 11:24. However, there is another translation that says take, which is the meaning of the word receive.
Mark 11:24 Wycliffe Bible Version 24 Therefore I say to you, all things whatever things ye praying shall ask, believe ye that ye shall take, and they shall come to you.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for being the great “I am.” God, whatever I pray for at that very moment, I believe, take it, and it is mine. I repent for putting up with evil in my life. I take my victory by forces fighting the good fight of faith. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
