God is a God of creativity because He is the original Creator. All we must do is bring our needs, hopes, dreams, pain, fears, and abilities over to God, and He can do something that is above what we can do.

The way God does things is not boring. I am amazed by Him using me for two years with the blog. The way God put a thought in my mind to watch Esther on Netflix and then instructed me to fast. While I was sleeping, He gave me a dream to do freelance writing. Researching freelance writing, the idea of a blog jumped out at me. I asked my writing adviser what I am I going to write about. After speaking with my writing adviser, she asked me what you are passionate about. I told her I like to encourage people. After that, the phrases started coming out of nowhere.
The word of God says His mercies are new every morning. I love living a life of faith in God, Jesus. His way of doing things is not like everyone else.
1 Peter 2:9-10 King James Version: 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;10 Which in time past were not a people but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
As people of God, we are not like others. We are royal. We are people of light. We are peculiar (which means we do not do things like others usually do). We are chosen. We are holy (which means our lives are dedicated to pleasing God), and we have the mercy of God. If you have not accepted Jesus into your heart, it is time to join the family of God. Your life will never be the same.
Jesus did something extraordinary with the miracle at the wedding in Cana.
John 2:1-11 Jesus, His mother Mary, and his disciples were at a wedding in Cana of Galilee. When they ran out of wine, Jesus’ mother, Mary, said, “they have no wine.” Jesus told his mother that it was not their concern and that the time was not yet. Then Mary said to the servants, “whatever He says to you, do it.” Then Jesus told them to fill the water pots with water. They filled the pots to the top of the brim as instructed. Next, Jesus told them to draw the water out and bring it to the feast. When they tasted the water, it was wine. After the people were satisfied, the master of the bridegroom said, “everyone contributed wine, but yours is the best.
Jesus took something ordinary and made it extraordinary. Notice that Jesus’ mother, Mary brought her situation to Jesus. He told her the time was not yet, so she had to be patient. Then mother Mary said whatever He says to you, do it. Then she obeyed what Jesus said and received what she came for.
God wants us to come to Him and trust Him with our entire life. He wants us to be patient until He gives us what to do. When God tells us to do something, we should obey immediately so we will not miss our opportunity to receive.
Read Isaiah 55. He Tells us to come to God and listen, and we will eat what is good. You can come to God without money. His ways are higher than our ways, and thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
We come to God because He is the Creator. He knows how we are designed.
I love the gospel group with Fred Hammond and Marvin Sapp called Commissioned; the song is titled “Ordinary Just Won’t Do.”
I love this verse:
Lord, I need a special touch
That will mean so very much
Close friends don’t seem to understand
Problems in your life
So complexed, you say, who can comprehend
Tragedy when you need relief
Only Jesus Christ can supply your need
Sweet and gentle touch
That will speak a word of love and mean so much
The ordinary just won’t do
I need someone, Lord; I need someone
That someone is you
That someone is you
The ordinary just won’t do
I need a love that’s pure and true I
Can always find it in you, Jesus
The ordinary just won’t, do I
Gotta have a touch from you I
Can always find it in you, Jesus
That song sums it up.
From Ordinary to Extraordinary!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for another day to manifest your glory. God, I repent for not bringing all my situations to you because your ways are higher than my ways and thoughts higher than my thoughts. Lord, you can take an ordinary situation and make it extraordinary. God, whatever you tell me to do, I will do it immediately and wait on you for instructions. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
