When The Enemy Comes In Like A Flood, Plead The Blood!

Flood

Things can come at you all at once: death, financial problems, health problems, and other attacks. It can throw you off guard and shake you up emotionally. Our weapon is understanding the power of the Blood of Jesus. Jesus took all our suffering and pain on the cross so that we can live a life of freedom, no matter what comes our way. We can have confidence in the blood of Jesus and use it as our weapon.

Moses, in Exodus 12, knew the power of the Blood of Jesus and used it to keep Pharaoh from murdering their firstborn sons.

Exodus 12:7 New King James Version: 7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses where they eat it.

Verse 13 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Because Moses and his people trusted in the blood, it passed over them when the enemy came against them.

Revelation 12:11 says we are overcome by the Blood of The Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Start thanking God for the blood and begin thanking God for what he has done and is doing.

Galatians 3:13 says Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)

Jesus hung on the cross for us, bled, and died for all our suffering.

Begin trusting in the Blood of Jesus. Then, when unexpected tragedies come, start declaring, “I am free from the curse; Jesus took my pain and suffering on the cross.”

When the enemy comes in like a flood, plead the blood.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the blood of Jesus that has power. I apply the blood of Jesus to every challenging situation I face. The enemy sees the blood and passes over me. God, you took my pain and suffering and nailed it to the cross. Thank you, God, I am redeemed from the curse. In Jesus’ name! Amen!
