It is time to labor to bring our dreams to pass.
Webster’s meaning of labor: 1: to exert one’s powers of body or mind, especially with painful or strenuous effort: work 2: to move with earnest effort.
Pushing through to make your dream a reality can be painful and takes a lot of effort/work. However, once it is a reality, you are at rest and rejoicing.
Hebrews 4:11 King James Version: 11 Let us labor, therefore, to enter that rest, lest any man falls after the same example of unbelief.
Romans 8:22-28 Message Version 22-25 All around us, we observe a pregnant creation. The tough times of pain throughout the world are birth pangs. But it is not only around us; it is within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We are also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for complete deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. On the contrary, we are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, do not see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.26-28 Meanwhile, when we get tired of waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside us, helping us along. If we do not know how or what to pray, it does not matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That is why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
Let’s be consistent and diligent in birthing out our dreams. The Holy Spirit lives inside those who have accepted Jesus into their hearts. When we get tired, God is there to intercede for us to help us when we are weak. We also know all things work together for good to those who love God. We show love for God by trusting, believing, and acting on the word of God.
Labor through until it comes true!
Prayer: God, thank you for interceding on my behalf. People are eagerly waiting for the manifestation of your glory. No matter how tough it gets, I push through in prayer, thanksgiving, reading the word of God, meditating, and agreeing with other believers until it manifests. Thanks be to God, which gives me victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
