Maintain What You Gain

maintenance

Webster’s meaning maintains 1. to keep existing; preserve from failure or decline. 2: to sustain against opposition or danger: uphold and defend. 3: to continue or persevere in: carry on, keep up.

Do not lose any ground with the progress that you have made. Keep going.

2 John 1:8 8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for but may receive a full reward.

2 Timothy 4:2 says be prepared in season and out of season.

God wants to take us from faith to faith, glory to glory. So once you win a victory, never get too comfortable. Continue to go higher in the purpose God has for you.

When routine maintenance is done on anything, it is easy to upkeep. However, when you start to slack off on anything too long, it is more challenging and can be costly.

Keep it up, persevere, and always watch for the enemy’s plans because Satan is on his job as a roaring lion seeking a person he can devour. Therefore, we should be just that diligent.

Maintain what you gain!

Prayer: God, I thank you for giving me life. I maintain what I gain by being sober and vigilant concerning the devil’s schemes and attacks. God, I repent for slacking off and getting relaxed. I hold on to what I already have to receive the victory. God, I am instant in the season when things are going great and out of season when things are chaotic. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
