Seal The Deal, When It’s Revealed

We all are searching for answers concerning significant decisions. “Should I take this promotion?” “Should I enter a relationship or marry this person?” Should I sign this contract or enter this business deal? Should I invest in this company or stock? Should I join this church? You get the point.

God is concerned about every decision we make, big or small.

One of the ways God reveals things to us is through His word.

Psalm 119:105 says God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.

Meditating on God’s word, acting on God’s word, and speaking it bring revelation.

I would say, for example, “Lord I thank you that according to Proverb 3:5 I trust you with all my heart, I don’t lean to my understanding. I acknowledge you in this situation and you are directing me in which way to go.” I keep thanking God until the answer comes. Thanksgiving helps when you are waiting on God for a reply. God would give me the solution through the word of God while reading, a dream, a movie or TV show about my situation, the internet, a particular thought, or a person who would come and speak to me on what I was dealing with. God has ways to reach us according to our personality.

Another way God reveals things to us is just by asking. If we are ready to receive the answer and hungry for it, God will answer us.

Matthew 7: 7-8 says 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

God also gives us confirmation through more than one avenue to confirm the answer.

2 Corinthians 13;1 Amplified Version: Every fact shall be sustained and confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

When I prayed about a specific situation, a pastor or an inspirational speaker would talk about it, then someone else would talk about the same thing, or I would have a dream about it as a second witness. Then, finally, the spirit of God will give an inner witness and peace about the situation as a third witness.

Finally, sometimes all we have is the word of God to hold on to and nothing else. If we hold on to the word of God and do what we know to do, manifestation comes. Those that endure to the end will receive. Through faith and patience, we inherit the promise. It can be challenging to wait, but it is sometimes necessary for maturity.

Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives opens us up to divine wisdom. Read Romans 10:9-11 concerning salvation. There is no time like the present to accept Jesus as Lord. It is a fantastic journey.

Solomon was the wisest man there was. So what did the wisest man say about wisdom?

Proverbs 9:10 says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fear, in this case, means respect and reverence. When you show respect and reverence for someone, you can receive things others cannot. We reverence and respect God by trusting in His word, obeying His word, and spending time with Him.

John 14:21 New Living Translation says Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and will reveal myself to each of them.

When you trust God and His word, He can reveal certain things to you. It is just like with anyone. Some things you do not reveal to a person until you trust they are ready to receive.

Trust God in every situation; he will lead and guide you into all truth.

Do not seal the deal until it is revealed.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your wisdom. I do not lean on my understanding. I acknowledge you in everything I do. Thank God you are directing me in which way to go. I am a doer of your word, not just a hearer only. As I am obedient to your word, you reveal things to me. Thank you for the answer. In Jesus’ name! Amen
