The Wait is Up, Go Get Your Stuff!

We have been confessing and praying for a long time; the wait is over. It is time to get our stuff.

One way to receive our property is through praise.

Paul and Silas praised God while in prison, chained up. Their deliverance happened suddenly.

Acts 16:25-26 25 About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners listened. 26 Suddenly, there was such a violent earthquake that the prison’s foundations were shaken. All the prison doors flew open at once, and everyone’s chains came loose.

Jehoshaphat praised God when the enemy was up against him, and he did not know what to do.

2 Chronicles 20:21-23

21 After talking it over with the people, Jehoshaphat appointed a choir for God; dressed in holy robes, they were to march ahead of the troops, singing,

Give thanks to God,

His love never quits.

22-23 As soon as they started shouting and praising, God set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir as they were attacking Judah, and they all ended up dead.

Notice that this happened immediately.

Praying according to the word of God is another way to receive what you believe God for. I have seen it in my own life. When I kept praying for the word of God, I was able to obtain what I was praying for. God rewards those that diligently seek Him. Just like a phrase I’ve used before: “Stay with it, ’til you get it!”

The church prayed for Peter consistently, and he was freed.

Acts 12:5-7.

5 Peter was kept in prison, but the church earnestly prayed to God for him.

6 The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. 7 Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.

Notice that again the word “suddenly” I am ready for suddenly.

Here are some bible verses that we can meditate on to prepare the atmosphere of faith and suddenly.

Isaiah 48:3 3 I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them, and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.

Speaking something long enough will take root. It is like a seed that grows and causes action. Notice the suddenly happened by acting after confessing the word of God. Confession brings possession!

Matthew 15:25-28

25 Then she worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”

26 But He answered, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”

27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Notice that she worshiped God and then asked for help. The Canaanite woman was also persistent; she did not take no for an answer. She got healed that very moment. Immediately!

Don’t let things not turn out the way you want them to, or rejection get the form of getting what you believe God for. Remember that without faith, it is impossible to please God. He noticed her faith, and she got what she asked for.

Acts 2:1-2 1 And when the day of Pentecost fully came, they were all with one accord in one place.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

There is strength in numbers. Sometimes you need people like faith, in the unity of the spirit, to receive your suddenly.

There are many other bible events where people immediately got their miracle.

The wait is up; get your stuff!

Prayer: Thank you, God, for your miracle-working power. I know you show up when I trust you at the end of everything. I continue to speak your word, praise you for what you did, get other believers to pray with me, and be persistent in receiving. I thank you in advance for it. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
