I was meditating and waiting to get light on a specific situation that positions a person to receive from God.
Psalm 119:148 English Standard Version 148 My eyes are awake before the watches of the night,
that I may meditate on your promise.
Most people wake up in the middle of the night or at a specific time as an opportunity to meditate on the word of God and wait until they hear what God is saying.
You can meditate by reading a bible verse several times until you get a revelation of what to do. Then, you can listen to an inspirational speaker and play it on repeat while you sleep. Your spirit will wake you up at the right time to receive a word you need to get you through the day.
Meditation is like an energy booster. The more you do it, the stronger, and wiser you become.
Psalm 1:1-3(English Standard Version)
Blessed is the man [who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord and on his law, he meditates day and night.3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
That bible verse sums up what meditating will do.
Meditate and wait!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for another day and brand-new mercy. I meditate and delight in your word until revelation comes. I know whatever I do prospers as I seek godly counsel, meditate your word day and night, and keep company with people of faith; I wait on you. Through faith and patience, I inherit the promise. Thank you in advance. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
