Have No Fear, God Is Here

The kingdom of God operates by faith. The kingdom of Satan operates by fear. Therefore, to receive from God, you must cast down fear with words of faith.

2 Timothy 1:7 says God does not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (the mind of Christ)

When you receive bad news or things are not working out as you thought, it is easy to get into fear. Jesus left us an example so we could follow in his footsteps. When the devil came at Jesus in Luke 4, Jesus said, “it is written.”  Words such as “if,” I do not know, and maybe are words of doubt and unbelief. The root is fear of the unknown. We can change those words by speaking the word of God.

If you need something, say, according to Philippians 4:19, “My God supplies all my needs.” Likewise, 2 Corinthians 9:8 says God can bless abundantly so that in all things, always having all that we need, we can excel in every good work.

If you have a health situation, Isaiah 53:5 “With His stripes (Jesus) we are healed. Proverbs 4:21-22 attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them during the heart, for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Suppose you are dealing with grief. Isaiah 53:4 says Jesus took our grief and carried our sorrow. Psalm 24:18 says the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Give it to God. He knows what you are going through like no one else would.

When in fear, our thoughts can create things. Before Job in the Bible lost everything (his children, wife left, the house burned with children in it, and health issues), he said, “the thing I greatly feared has come on me.”  Thoughts are things. We cast down evil thoughts with the word of God.

Proverbs 23:7 says as a person thinks, then that is what they will become.

Throughout the Bible, it says do not fear.

No fear. God is here! Hallelujah!

Prayer: Lord, I thank you that you did not give me a spirit of fear but power, love, and a sound mind (the mind of Christ). I face my fears head-on with the word of God. I cast down every evil thought and replaced it with things of God’s nature. I repent for living in doubt and letting negative reviews transform my thinking. I am transformed by renewing my mind to the word of God. In Jesus’ name! Amen!
