Hear, And Things Will Become Clear

hearing

I have often jumped to conclusions because I did not hear something out completely. Even if I do not agree with someone, I have been learning to hear that person still out.

Proverbs 1:5 says, 5 A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain wise counsels.

Ecclesiastes 5, in summary, says when you come in God’s presence, keep your ears open and your mouth shut.

When I used to pray, I would talk about my problems and what I wanted God to do in my life. But my prayers were not being answered because I was doing all the talking.

It is just like having a conversation with someone. You cannot fully converse with someone if one person is doing all the talking.

Every morning, I sit and listen to hear what God is saying before saying anything. If I say something, I sit and hear what God has to say. If I do not get the answer right, then I thank God for the answer. Each time my prayers were answered. God would reveal things to me when I am listening to hear His voice. God would warn me or remind me of things when I became silent.

Hear, and things will become clear.

Prayer: God, I thank you. Your ears are open to me when I pray because I am righteous by trusting you and the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus. God, I will be still and know. It was because I heard and increased in learning. I repent for talking too much and not listening. I choose to attend so I can get clarity. Thank you for the answer. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
