Send The Rain, Wash Away The Pain

Deuteronomy 11:13-15 New Living Translation

13 “If you carefully obey the commands, I am giving you today, and if you love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and soul,14 then he will send the rains in their proper seasons—the early and late rains—so you can bring in your harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil. 15 He will give you lush pastureland for your livestock, and you yourselves will have all you want to eat.

If we love God, we will obey what He says through His word.  God is love and it is the most important commandment. Without love, faith does not work. Love is the fulfillment of everything.

Everything we need, if we ask with a sincere heart according to the word of God, he hears us and answers prayers.

1 Kings 18 :41-45 New Living Translation

Elijah Prays for Rain

41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go get something to eat and drink, for I hear a mighty rainstorm coming!”

42 So Ahab went to eat and drink. But Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees.

43 Then he said to his servant, “Go and look out toward the sea.”

The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, “I didn’t see anything.”

Seven times Elijah told him to go and look. 44 Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.”

Then Elijah shouted, “Hurry to Ahab and tell him, ‘Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you do not hurry, the rain will stop you!’”

45 And soon the sky was black with clouds. A heavy wind brought a terrific rainstorm, and Ahab left quickly for Jezreel.

After you pray, believe for your situation to change even when you do not see it right away. Keep expecting every day for your situation to change at any moment.

Send the rain!

Prayer: Lord I thank you for being living water in a dry and thirsty land. I repent for being disobedient and not loving you with my whole heart, I choose today to be obedient serve and love you with my whole heart. I know you will send the rain at the proper time. I look for it with expectancy no matter what it looks like. I know it is already done. I claim it now in Jesus’ name! Amen.
