Where The Holy Spirit Leads, He’ll Meet The Need

You ever had a prompting about something? Most people use the phrase something told me to do this or that. That something is the Holy Spirit leading and guiding you. Once you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior you have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you.

John 16:13 13 But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words. He will speak only what he hears and will tell you what will happen in the future.

God left Jesus as an example to follow in His footsteps.

Luke 4:1 Living says 4 1-2 Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan River, being urged by the Spirit out into the barren wastelands of Judea, where Satan tempted him for forty days. He ate nothing all that time and was very hungry.

Because Jesus followed the leading of the Holy Spirit, He became powerful and effective in ministry.  The devil can use people or voices in your head to stop you from following what God wants you to do. Each time Satan came at Jesus He said, “it is written.”  Jesus spoke the word of God to run the devil off.  The devil came at Jesus several times, but each time He spoke the word of God to get rid of him.

Do not ignore the promptings you receive inside you. It can be the very thing that can lead you into your destiny and save your life.

The Holy Spirit will not lead you to do something wrong. That is Satan talking. You need to do like Jesus and speak the word of God to run him off.

I was led to watch the movie Esther. As I watched the movie Esther, I got another prompting to go on a fast. I fasted most of the day and when I went to sleep, I had a dream to do a blog. I followed the process through until I got clarity on the next thing to do. Just like with Jesus, the devil made circumstances difficult for me to start the blog, but I did not let it stop me. The result now is people are being encouraged. God provided for me to start the blog.

You do not have to know how God is going to do it, just follow the process through. Where the Holy Spirit leads, He will meet the need.

Prayer: Jesus I thank you for sending me a comforter, the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into the truth. I repent for ignoring the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, God, for leading me all the way to victory in Jesus’ name! Amen!
