Submit: Accept or yield to a superior force or to the authority or will of another person.

James 4:7 says Amplified 7 So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.

Are you struggling with a bad pattern or habit? Submit to what the word of God says about you.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Amplified version says 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, everything Jesus done on the cross for us wipe our slate clean.

If thoughts come to you about what you did wrong, you resist the devil with Romans 8:5 AMP 8 Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior].

1 John 1:9 Living 9 But if we confess our sins to him, [ he can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.

You continue saying it until the devil flees. There is power in the word of God.  The less you focus on or talk about your sin and submit to what the word of God says, the less you repeat the same pattern. It is just like reprogramming a computer. We are transformed daily by renewing our minds to the word of God. Just like technology is constantly updating, we as believers must constantly update our minds to the word of God.

In every area of our lives (relationships, finances, and health) submit it to God. We are not able to do it through our own strength and ability. We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us.

Submit to quit.

Prayer: Lord I thank you for forgiving me. Once I repent which means to confess my sin and start on the path of righteousness you are faithful to forgive and cleanse me from all sin. God, I repent for trying to do things in my own strength. I do not live under the sin of condemnation because there is no condemnation when repent and get back in Christ Jesus. I submit to God, resist the devil, and the devil flees from me. Thank you for the victory in Jesus’ name! Amen.

  1. After I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a remark is added I get four emails with the identical comment. Is there any method you’ll be able to remove me from that service? Thanks!
