Correction Brings Perfection

In order to receive the new things Spring brings, and tackle your shackle, correction is needed. You know the saying “practice makes perfect” , that statement is so true. In order to understand the spiritual, you must first understand the natural things. Most people focus a lot on their health for many reasons. In order to live a healthy lifestyle, most people change what they eat, exercise, and get active in a certain sports or activities. We all have things that needs some correction. Anything spiritual must start with the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12 12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

Any challenge that you have get a scripture to speak anytime you have a challenge with a certain thing. Once you keep speaking it over and over when the challenge comes you will get a check in your spirit not to repeat the same pattern.

I can use an example concerning my own life. How many of us know the people who can really test us the most, is the people who are closest to us. A bible verse I have been speaking and meditating on is Philippians 2:14-16. 14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. Since I have been meditating on that scripture, I get a check in my spirit and start to speak it down low or out loud every time I am tempted to complain . If I mess up, I repent, and go back at it again. I have learned to stop beating myself up when I mess up. Romans 8:1 says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Proverbs 24:16 Though a righteous man falls seven times,he will get up. As long as you are sincere, ask God for forgiveness, and start back on the right path your sin is under the blood of Jesus.

Meditation is also a key factor into perfection, It is just like a song you listen to over and over, you will start singing it without even thinking. Joshua 1:8 (Living Translation) Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. I am going to use a little slang, “Stay Wit It,’Til You Git It”   A practice we use in our family is listening to spiritual teaching while we are sleeping and put it on repeat. I have noticed when I wake up, the teaching is right in the spot that I needed to hear the most. It is like your spirit wakes up to what God is trying to get over to you.

Let’s choose to be the seed that falls on good ground; the people who hear the word, keep it, and produces results.
